The fact that the word has thus an official assignment does not preclude its generosity. It answers to the present that is made to us by what is. Acknowledgement again, but with a different meaning, in the word of wonder. And there is in the saying a tendency to become a tale. But does the history of the Universe not lend itself to a prodigious narration?
