Making the most of the contribution of social economy to circular economy

<br/><br/> This article explores the contribution of social economy to the transition to a circular economy, as a way to engage citizens, enterprises y territories in circularity. Based on a literature review, it defines both the concept of circular economy and that of social economy. It describes the potential of social economy to support circular activities and related enterprise models, as well as to better incorporate circularity within our economies and our societies. Lastly, it considers how to better capitalize on this potential and to identify political guidelines based on complementarity of social and circular economies to support circularity and to foster a transition towards a green and inclusive economy.
