N1 - 38 N2 - Based on a qualitative analysis of poorly educated young people (PEYP), we found that subordinate counter-productive workplace behaviors can be triggered by the “dysfunctional” supervision of their manager. “Dysfunctional” supervision is defined as a passive form of supervision, wherein a manager, due to his or her incompetence and/or lack of interest, unintentionally hurts his/her subordinates.
