<br/><br/> The development of government websites, tele-procedures, and personalized administrative services in France brought about new uses of the Internet that necessitated specifying their rules of functioning compared with classical administration and informing potential users. It was for this purpose that the Forum of Rights on the Internet (Forum des droits sur internet) was created in 2001. Competent in legal and social questions connected with the services and uses of electronic networks, the forum makes recommendations as it conducts fieldwork to understand the public’s expectations and information and awareness campaigns on e-administration.
