Formation, or permitting everyone to respond to the call of God - 2019.

Considering the challenges of formation ultimately requires us to nurture the vocation of each person and to permit them to respond to the call of God. Following the contributions made at this colloquium and the tools proposed there, this article highlights four educational guidelines. Moral formation refers less to the content of teaching than to a learning of skills based on interpersonal relationships; it offers each person the chance to discover her own freedom and to exercise their responsibility to learn from one another. In this context, educational practices are challenged to provide access to the universal based on the singularity of each human subject. The theologian places himself at service of this formation when he offers a horizon of meaning and never despairs of the growth of each person.
