N2  - Far from providing answers to all the questions of meaning that human beings ask themselves, technoscience, individualism, and secularisation sometimes create a void that they cannot fill. It is, we might say, to fill this void that ethics and spirituality can come together to approach the movement of life which establishes the subject in existence. Spirituality provides an opening which broadens the horizons of the search for meaning so as to make room for theology. But what kind of theological presence would be capable of offering an intelligible account of its relevance? Analogical theology could not merely contribute to contemporary debates but also work across cultures, establishing links based on the identification and the recognition of the shareable elements which build on the basis of sociocultural particularities
