N2  - The present contribution focuses on the relationship between moral theology and Christology in the work of the German moral theologian Klaus Demmer. To address this relationship, this article will first review Demmer’s conception of moral theology before elucidating the links between moral theology and Christology. These points will be thematised by first emphasising how Christology and anthropology are interwoven, then by outlining the contributions that the anthropological correlates of faith make to ethics, and lastly by discussing the link between the Sermon on the Mount and Christian ethics. Building on this overview, the third point will propose some further openings for moral theology
