Covid-19: Let’s take inspiration from open source software in the management of remote coworking activities

<br/><br/> The Covid-19 pandemic is leading organizations to accelerate remote coworking activities. The article proposes to draw inspiration from organizations practicing open source management of these activities. Based on an analysis of sixteen expert interviews, the research identifies three characteristics that are easily transferable to other industries: the role of communication, recognition of each person’s contribution, and the use of coworking tools and principles. Two others worth considering in the medium-term are the breakdown of tasks into modules and the development of a unique business model.
