<br/><br/> In this article, the author shows that even if the term, “excitation” was associated with “drive,” it retains its neurological links which make it an imprecise term in psychoanalysis, a metapsychological aporia, a Freudian non liquet. A hypothesis is made based on the notion of libidinal coexcitation.
