Analytical Practice of the Team Psyche for Adolescents

<br/><br/> How should we describe a psychoanalyst’s activity at a Medical Psychological Centre for adolescents? In a multidisciplinary team, the collective confrontation with the adolescent psyche in its environmental turmoil is brought into play in the group with complex psychic forces that are specific to analytic work, with a capacity for countertransference work extended to the treating group that suggests possible reference to a team psyche. Starting from the issues of adolescence, corresponding social expectations and their developments, especially in so-called difficult adolescences, this idea is explored as the possible aid to an analytic practice; a clinical case illustrates its therapeutic potential.
