<br/><br/> I suggest that mental structures can be modified in adulthood by the analytic process. I refer to hysteria. I briefly consider Freud's works and hysteria today to describe several cases from my clinical experience that I think show the possibility of this functioning, which leads them towards a "certain hystericisation". I consider humour as the common feature of my interventions. I refer to the foundational countertransference and then to the analyst today who is confronted with new pathologies, including the "hysterical conversions".
