N2  - Having revisited the history of ideas that gradually led Kanner from childhood autism (1943) to the concept of the "developmental disorder" and then to "autistic-spectrum disorders", the author indicates the political and commercial issues that underlie this disastrous development, which constitutes a true nosological regression. Finally he recalls the standpoint adopted by CIPPA (an international organization of psychotherapists, psychoanalysts and associate members caring for people with autism) based on a multidimensional approach to autistic children, for whom psychotherapeutic and psychoanalytic treatments continue to be vitally important
