From Eve to Psyché: ‘the Actual’ of Transgression - 2014.

69

Starting from a ‘transgression’ in the interpretative process that is illustrated by Scarfone, the author calls on two narratives: the so-called ‘Fall’ in Genesis and that of Psyché in the tale by Apuleius. The purpose of this mythological and philosophical digression is to explore clinically the ‘work of sexuality’ that calls for love to become disalienated from transference love.
