<br/><br/> The description of an interpretive moment with a young psychotic patient bears witness to the value of the hallucinatory fulfilment accomplished by this experience. The classic distinction proposed by psychiatrists between hallucinatory and interpretive mechanisms tends to erase this dimension in favour of a conception of interpretation which reduces it to a pathology of reasoning (reasoning madness).
