<br/><br/> Drawing on the description of a sequence of dreams taken from the second year of an analysis, the author describes the transformative function of dreams within the analytic relationship. The author shows how the interpretation of dreams is a product of the analysis as well as a process of retroactive attribution of meaning of an intersubjective nature.
