When and how, in the analytical situation, should one to take into account the external reality of the subject, when the analyst is centered on the internal world and the transference-countertransference dynamics and projective experiences? A face-to-face psychotherapy in two stages, with an interlude of thirty years, showed me that the existence of disaster nuclei, included in each of us, can one day radiate through resonance with the external world into ambivalent, paradoxical mindsets with exponential destructive effects on the subject and his relation to the other.
