<br/><br/> This text is a testimony presented by the late Samir Jebabli at the 6th international conference of the Research Unit in Clinical Psychopathology (URPC) held on 3-4 February 2006 in Carthage on the theme of “The reference”. He presents an experiment conducted by the URPC with Dr Patrick Delaroche between 2001 and 2004 with a view to introducing psychoanalysis in Tunisia. The author gives a faithful account of this experience. This testimony is touching for its sincerity. He retraces the various phases of this adventure, punctuated by moments of enthusiasm, then disappointment and bitterness.
