Build coeducational relationships. The case of an itinerant school in Chile

This paper presents the results of a research carried out in an itinerant kindergarden in Chile, El Jardín sobre Ruedas. From the first results of a qualitative research, this study aims to understand the relationships between school and family, as well as their underlying dynamics. From the analysis of interviews, this study shows how professionals, based on divergent practices, create an intermediary space that serves as support for the construction of coeducational relations between school and families in rural conditions. These teacher practices shape and rebuild relationships, model the work of professionals and allow families to integrate into the method, in order to fully become educational actors of the Jardín sobre Ruedas.
