TY - BOOK AU - Berger-Douce,Sandrine TI - The societal commitment of an SME  PY - 2008///. N1 - 33 N2 - Though small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in the relationship between firms and society, they still receive scant attention from researchers in corporate social responsibility (CSR) (Capron and Quairel-Lanoizelée 2007). This article illustrates how one SME, Triselec-Lille, responds by being engaged in CSR activities. Located in northern France, this SME specializes in sorting and recycling waste. The eco-firm is also strongly involved in the professional integration of people with various social difficulties (long-term unemployed people, former prisoners, workers with disabilities). This case is analyzed through the lens of the concept of the “CSR champion” (Jenkins 2006) UR - https://shs.cairn.info/journal-revue-internationale-de-psychosociologie-2008-32-page-207?lang=en&redirect-ssocas=7080 ER -
