<br/><br/> In Morocco, strategic environmental assessment was instigated by the law 49-17 of August 13, 2020, in line with the prescriptions of the legal framework set out by the National Environmental and Sustainable Development Charter. However, a 2017 law project contained significantly different provisions. This article will compare these two versions and will question the legitimacy of the adopted version.
