<br/><br/> This article reviews the production of Comparative Literature in Brazil. The author performs both a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the dissertations and PhDs supported by the main Brazilian universities, since the foundation of the Brazilian Association of Comparative Literature (ABRALIC) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 1986 has consolidated comparative studies in Brazil.
