TY - BOOK AU - Rauchs,Géraldine TI - Perception and memory processing during sleep PY - 2018///. N1 - 15 N2 - Sleep is a physiological state during which the responsiveness to external stimuli is decreased. However, numerous studies indicate that information processing during sleep is not totally impeded. This mini-review aims first at illustrating some of the cognitive processes occurring during sleep. We will then expose how sleep-dependent memory consolidation proceeds according to hippocampo-neocortical dialogue and synaptic downscaling models. We will finally show how perceptive capacities (perception of odors and sounds) during sleep stages can be used to boost memory consolidation UR - https://shs.cairn.info/journal-revue-de-neuropsychologie-2018-4-page-298?lang=en&redirect-ssocas=7080 ER -
