<br/><br/> Claudine Vacheret’s work on Jean Bergeret’s “Fundamental Violence” has led to new thinking about the dialogue between the individual and the group. This reopens the question of the Oedipus Complex and generations and also, from a clinical perspective, the question of dependence, on the one hand, and of triangulation on the other. In certain cases the clinician must be able to accept the relationship before transference, and authority before interpretation.
