This article offers some reflections on sexuality in a centre for psycho-social reintegration for psychotic subjects, inspired by the principles of recovery and autonomy. Based on clinical material arising from a work of supervision of a therapeutic team concerning a situation that occurred following a love affair between two psychotic residents in this centre, we try to develop an institutional and group problematic concerning the attitudes and counter-attitudes of the other patients, as well as of members of the personnel in relation to this.Among other things, we discuss the contradictions arising from culture and the objectives of recovery vs the shame and guilt of the carers faced with the experience of “endogamy” and incestuality in the context of this centre.
