Sensoriality and its resonances, the challenge of the transference-countertransference relationship in psychoanalytic group relaxation - 2023.

Sapir psychoanalytic relaxation practiced in a group is a particularly useful setting for understanding the sensory bath of the person relaxing. The dynamics of conscious and unconscious resonances are always present with their effects in the internal world of each person and in the group body. This requires a containing attitude and a particular form of listening. There is a continuous exchange in the transference-countertransference relationship. Work on the counter-transference is necessary to better understand the counter-transference “acting out” and the way the relaxant occupies a place in the psychic life of the therapist.
