<br/><br/> Hyperbole is discovered in the philosophy of Levinas as a test of subjectivity, in its relation to meaning and as a phenomenological method. The hyperbolic negation of everything as well as the hyperbole of ego ethics, emphatically open to others, discloses a complex individual subject.
