N2  - Human beings seek security in their relationship to the world and their relationship to themselves, just as they seek security in front of God. A true security might come from an all-encompassing knowledge, such is the conviction of modern human beings. Certainty is something other than security. Before God, our security runs the risk to leading to idolatry. Faith dares another relationship to God. And God dares another relationship to human beings. It is in discovering this dimension of the relationship between God and humankind that theologians as different as Martin Luther and Saint Ignatius of Loyola come closer together for a time
