We live the contemporary city as a labyrinth. As an urban impulse, this spatial archetype allows us to go from the literary fiction to the social friction. In fact, in a short story, J. L. Borges analyzes the psychological conditions of a person that has a labyrinth for dwelling. “The house of Asterion” tell us the everyday life of a monster in a space that he feels like home. How to understand through this fiction proposed by Borges, the transition from a spatial archetype to a cosmic, and cosmetic condition of the contemporary urban life?
