- 2016.
46
This article examines an action-research project (Goyette & Lessard-Hebert, 1987) carried out in a public educational institution in the district of Peņalolen, in Santiago, Chile. The main challenge of the investigation was to find a participatory methodology capable of translating the opinions, concerns, longings, feelings and customs of a specific educational community through comprehensible data that could be used by architects in designing a building for the community. In short, this article will describe the work process that emerged between architects, sociologists, and the educational community in search of a construction design method capable of creating a link and a syntony between users, architecture and space.
