What Becomes of the Child-King in the Context of an Institution for Teenagers? Limits and Openings

The following article is a contribution to understanding the phenomenon of the child- king. With this intention, we have endeavored to describe a particular path by taking daily life in the institutional as a starting point for exploratory research. This includes the problem of modeling testing, a study of the cultural milieu of a teenager being accommodated, as well as the different stages of the renewal of cooperation between the family and the institution. We conclude with some reflections intended to question and nourish an educational paradigm that tends to falter when faced with taking on such a stressful load.
