Young Adults’ Mental Exhaustion: A Systemic Perspective - 2015.

Numerous healthcare professionals have seen the number of consultations of adults in “burn­out” shooting up over the past years. We are, however, struck by their young age and the increasing arrival of students, who seem to present the same symptoms as their elders: they are removed from school, demotivated, tired, desocialized, disenchanted, indifferent to everything, often suicidal. This article proposes a systematic look at this phenomenon from about twenty situations encountered in our private office, to be able to, in a later article, establish therapeutic interventions from these analyses.
