TY - BOOK AU - Molinier,Pascale TI - From a work civilization to a caring society PY - 2016///. N1 - 96 N2 - This article synthesizes the research of the author, who helped introduce the concept of “care” in France. The epistemological framework of the sciences of work was constructed from a masculine point of view; this must be put behind us, giving way to a new conceptualization of work based on the feminine experience of non-specialized care. This means getting rid of positions of superiority, and reconceptualizing the concept of “work”—taking as a starting point its periphery, the part rendered invisible or considered unworthy of interest. We thereby see that an analysis of care work cannot be held distinct from an ethics of care. In a global society, this implies the decolonization of knowledge and opinions UR - https://shs.cairn.info/journal-vie-sociale-2016-2-page-127?lang=en&redirect-ssocas=7080 ER -
