TY - BOOK AU - Wittorski,Richard TI - The profession of social worker, an activity first co-constructed and then disseminated PY - 2019///. N1 - 65 N2 - This article aims to analyze one of the specificities of social work professions by placing them within the broader framework of so-called “relationship” professions or professions “orientated toward others” (Piot), namely the co-construction of professional activity with the user/person being supported. In particular, the article analyzes: the need to take into account the “conception of the other” in carrying out the activity; the construction of professional knowledge that is essentially shared; and the way in which supported persons participate “in reverse” in the professional development of social workers as the activity progresses. The article is divided into two parts: first, the author attempts to specify what he considers to be the main specificities of the so-called “relationship” professions; second, he discusses a few examples of research that confirm the idea that professionals can learn from users UR - https://shs.cairn.info/journal-vie-sociale-2019-1-page-131?lang=en&redirect-ssocas=7080 ER -
