<br/><br/> L’apport théorique de l’étude de l’histoire de Technip réside dans la confrontation entre les héritages et les mutations qui ont contribué à former une entité économique indépendante au chemin de croissance original. L’achèvement de l’intégration multidivisionnelle de Technip au sens d’Alfred Chandler apparaît bien lié à un moment de rupture des cycles d’innovation schumpétériens et à l’internalisation du facteur de production formé par le progrès technique au sens d’Oliver Williamson. Le passage à un nouveau modèle de croissance résulte d’une nouvelle relation de l’entreprise au progrès technique, d’une indépendance toujours plus marquée par rapport à l’État et de l’émergence d’une entreprise privée réellement multinationale. The achievement of the multidivisional integration of Technip in the sense of Alfred Chandler seems strongly linked with a moment of rupture of Schumpeterian innovation cycles and with the internalization of technical progress as a production factor in the sense of Oliver Williamson. The shift to a new growth pattern resulted from a new relationship between the firm and technological progress, a more and more marked independence from the State and the emergence of a private and really multinational company.
