N2  - RésuméÀ partir de leur expérience dans un hôpital de jour accueillant des enfants autistes et psychotiques, les auteurs étudient les différents regards en jeu dans l’institution et leurs fonctions, notamment celles de l’échange de regard.Ils démontrent la fonction de « lieu psychique tiers » tenue par la réunion de synthèse où il est tenté de débusquer les effets de ce regard composite « qui nous cerne et qui fait d’abord de nous des êtres regardés » (Lacan, Séminaire Livre XI, 1973). Ils insistent sur la qualité spécifiquement humanisante du regard – fondé sur la relation – pour légitimer l’importance qui lui est accordée dans le dispositif thérapeutique au sein de l’hôpital de jour; On the grounds of their experience in a Day hospital for autistic and psychotic children, the authors study the different types of looks exchanged within the institutionand their functions, among which the exchange of looks.They show how the community meeting functions as « outsider psychic scene » where an attempt is made at finding out the effects of this heterogeneous look « that surrounds us and makes us first and foremost human beings that are looked at » (Lacan). They insist on the specifically humanizing quality of the look, funded on the human relationship at stake, to justify the importance granted to it within the Day hospital
