N2  - La psychanalyse permet de critiquer la notion de « genre » comme un système de classifications et d’identifications à portée normative, qui peut être situé dans le cadre du « Surmoi culturel » d’une époque, concept introduit par Freud en 1930, et qu’on peut relire comme une théorie freudienne de l’idéologie. Grâce à l’analyse du film Tomboy, de Céline Sciamma (2011), nous montrons qu’une analyse en termes d’idéologie, telle que l’a introduite Althusser, est insuffisante à rendre compte des changements subjectifs, si on ne prend pas en compte un second niveau, celui de l’acte et de ses causes inconscientes et fantasmatiques; Psychoanalysis permits to discuss the notion of “gender” as a normative system of classifications and identifications. This system could be understood within the context of the “cultural superego” of a period – which was introduced by Freud in 1930 and which could be seen such as a Freudian theory of ideology. Through the study of the 2011 movie Tomboy by Céline Sciamma, the author proves that an analysis in terms of ideology – such as the one introduced by Althusser – can scarcely explain the subjective changes if a second stage is not taken into account, which is the act and its unconscious and phantasmatic causes
