<br/><br/> RésuméLe costume traditionnel est l’un des aspects de l’identité culturelle ukrainienne. Son évolution et sa signification ethnique sont présentées, grâce à une méthode descriptive rigoureuse, dans leurs variantes régionales et locales. L’analyse s’enrichit également de comparaisons avec d’autres traditions culturelles : celles de l’Europe, du monde slave, du Proche-Orient. Au début du xixe siècle, les variantes du costume traditionnel en tant que vêtement quotidien se stabilisent. Par la suite, il cesse d’être perçu comme objet utilitaire quotidien, pour revêtir une symbolique.  The traditional costume is part of Ukrainian cultural identity. Its evolution and ethnic meaning are presented here in their regional and local variants using a rigorous descriptive method. The analysis is enriched with a comparative study of other cultural traditions in Europe, the Slavic world and the Near East. The variants of the traditional costume as daily wear are stabilized by the early 19th century. Later on, it is no longer perceived as an utilitarian daily object and takes a symbolic value.  ZusammenfassungDie traditionelle Tracht ist ein Bestandsteil der ukrainischen kulturellen Identität. Ihre Entwicklung und ethnische Bedeutung werden in ihren regionalen und lokalen Varianten mit Hilfe einer strengen deskriptiven Methode dargestellt. Die Analyse wird um Vergleiche mit anderen kulturellen Traditionen in Europa, dem slawischen Welt und dem Nahost erweitert. Die Varianten der traditionellen Tracht als Alltagskleidung werden im frühen 19. Jahrhundert stabilisiert. Nachher ist sie nicht mehr als Alltagsnutzobjekt angesehen und nimmt einen symbolischen Wert an.
