Mais nulle société n’aura autant massacré son patrimoine architectural et naturel en si peu de temps, dans un développement sans retenue. La délicate ville japonaise, qui faisait nature et jardin du moindre espace laissé vacant, est encore en pleine transformation.Pourtant, une telle sensibilité à la nature, une telle capacité à l’urbaniser, peut-elle s’oublier, s’abolir sans trace ni remords ? C’est à une observation des traces lisibles le long d’un parcours dans trois rues de Kyôto, l’ancienne capitale, que l’on voudrait ici convier le lecteur : une description-décryptage où le corps de l’observateur est en jeu plus encore que ses fragiles connaissances de cette ville.  Japanese culture is known for his sensitivity to nature. But no other society has destroyed all its architectural and natural heritage in such a short time, in an unrestrained development. The delicate Japanese city, where each space left vacant was turned into nature and garden, is still in flux.However, could such a sensitivity to nature, such a capacity to civilize it be forgotten, be abolished without any trace or remorse ? It is to an observation of legible traces along a path in three streets of Kyôto, the ancient capital, we would like to invite the reader here : a description-deciphering, where the body itself of the observer is even more at stake than his fragile knowledge of this city.  ZusammenfassungDie japanische Kultur ist für ihre Natursensibilität bekannt. Dabei hat keine andere Gesellschaft ihr architektonisches und natürliches Erbe in so kurzer Zeit auf eine so rücksichtslose Art und Weise massakriert wie die Japanische. Die japanische Stadt, die eigentlich aus jedem freien Fleckchen einen Garten machte, befindet sich noch im Wandel. Aber kann man eine solche Natursensibilität, eine solche Gabe die Natur in die Stadt zu integrieren vergessen, abschaffen - spurlos, ohne Reue ? Eine Antwort auf diese Frage soll auf der Suche nach noch lesbaren Spuren in drei Straßenzügen in Kyoto gefunden werden. Es handelt sich bei dieser Suche um eine Art beschreibende Entzifferung in der der Körper des Beobachters sehr bedeutend ist, mehr noch als seine wenigen Kenntnisse der Stadt.
