<br/><br/> Un buste du roi des rois d’Éthiopie, qui témoignait de sa défense d’une souveraineté africaine contre le fascisme italien, fut détruit à Londres en 2020 par des militants oromo. Ces derniers rappellent ainsi une histoire d’unification nationale à caractère oppressif, face aux provocations du Premier ministre Abiy Ahmed, dans un contexte notamment influencé par le mouvement Black Lives Matter.  A bust of the king of kings of Ethiopia, witness to his defense of African sovereignty against Italian fascism, was destroyed by Oromo activists in London in 2020. The activists recall an history of oppressive national unification against Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s provocations, in a context impacted by the Black Lives Matter movement.
