<br/><br/> À l’aide du fil rouge des découvertes théoriques concernant le symptôme, il s’agit d’en retrouver le tranchant et la pertinence dans la pratique analytique et la direction de la cure. Chaque face théorique freudienne et lacanienne du symptôme comme signe, signe linguistique, du symptôme comme métaphore, comme lieu de jouissance et enfin comme lettre, est reprise et illustrée à l’aide d’exemples cliniques. Quelques instants de cures dévoilent comment le symptôme qui, dans un premier temps, fait signe au patient, s’installe au décours du travail analytique, au lieu même du langage et du corps qui le soutient.  Thanks to the leading thread of the theoretical discoveries dealing with the symptom, the matter at issue is to rediscover the cutting and relevant edge in the analytical practice and the management of the cure. Each Freudian and Lacanian theoretical facet of the symptom as a sign-linguistic sign, of the symptom as a metaphor, as place of enjoyment and finally as a letter- is taken up and illustrated with clinical examples. A few moments of various cures unveil how the symptom which first beckons to the patient, settles into the unraveling of the analytical work, at the very core of the language and of the body which sustains it.
