Pinocchio, or the necessity of acting disobedience during adolescence

<br/><br/> Faced with discourses advocating authority or denouncing its failure, a dream of obedience takes shape, with little concern for subjective construction. This rhetoric is a trap for the carer immersed in an institution of care that requires order above all. Considering that the subject,in adolescence, is shaped through the search for an authority, the question of the qualities of this authority arises. Not only to promote subjective capacities, but also to succeed in replacing family authority with social authority. This operation, being carried out in the relation to the other, takes place in reality by the act of disobedience, but leaves the subject in a state of abandonment. The maneuver then seeks a course by which the exit must pass through a strait between disobedience and offense. From the mythical model of Pinocchio, it appears that the smooth unfolding of this process will then depend on the qualities of what embodies the authority, of what will work for its credibility.
