<br/><br/> I would like to offer a very personal reading of the meaning of Gori. Although, of course, this reading derives in large part from his work, particularly in the fields of psychoanalysis and medicine, it also explores less frequent directions—from animality to speech, from the rationality of the body to the passion of the narrative. This article also attests to the influence of Gori on my own work and writing, and also to the sometimes fragmentary or indirect (but nevertheless precious) traces of his thinking and research in my early work in perinatal and cancer clinical analysis.
