In this article, the author wishes to demonstrate how the several pubertal processes readjust the sibling complex of intrusion experienced during the infantile phase. If this readjustment has a structural as well as a structuring significance, it can also lie behind many serious psychopathological disorders. As a matter of fact, the whole issue is about knowing if the rivalry complex opens and consolidates the oedipal structuring of the subject or if this very readjustment fixes the subject in a pre-oedipal rivalry phase, this particular case conferring therefore all its destructive force and its ferocity on intruder’s complex, the latter phase often being observed in cases of male anorexics.
