<br/><br/> En collaboration avec le laboratoire Novartis-Pharma, la Fng a débuté une étude sur les familles à 5 générations, phénomène non encore exploré en France. Sans vouloir prétendre à une bonne représentativité des familles ayant répondu au questionnaire, par rapport au chiffre estimé par l’INSEE de 30000 personnes ayant le statut d’arrière-arrière-grand-parent, des informations encore jamais obtenues sont présentées ici, essentiellement en ce qui concerne la génération la plus âgée, avec une place particulière chaque fois que cela était significatif pour les personnes de 100 ans et plus. En dépit du caractère déclaratif des réponses, ces premiers résultats laissent voir une réalité familiale parfois lourde à gérer, à côté d’une majorité de personnes qui ont conscience de bénéficier d’un capital santé assez privilégié.  IN FIVE-GENERATION FAMILIES, I ASK FOR THE GREAT-GREAT-GRANDPARENTS In collaboration with the Novartis-Pharma Laboratory, the French National Gerontological Foundation has begun a study on fivegeneration families. This phenomenon has remained unexplored in France until now. While not claiming to have had a perfectly representative sample of families who answered the questionnaire, in comparison to the estimated INSEE figure of 30000 people having the status of great-great-grandparent, new information has come to light here, mostly concerning the oldest generation with special mention, whenever possible, of people aged a hundred and over. In spite of the answers’ declarative nature, the first results reveal a family reality which is sometimes difficult to bear, along with a majority of people who are conscious of benefiting from the privilege of fairly good health.
