The ageing of elderly disabled people is an emerging phenomenon revealing semiological aspects which are difficult to decode. It questions present organisation and control of the situation; the absence of statutory rules, the goodwill of individual experience make up the framework of possible solutions (keeping people in their homes, adaptation or creation of institutional structures).
