<br/><br/> Georg Simmel a consacré de nombreux travaux à l’analyse de la culture et souligné combien les relations entre individu et culture relèvent d’une action réciproque. Dans ce cadre, la formation de soi suppose une appropriation érudite des contenus de culture, artistique, philosophique, religieuse, entre autres, mais ne prend tout son sens qu’à condition de maintenir un lien essentiel avec cette formation, autrement dit que la culture serve à l’autonomie et l’émancipation individuelle.  Georg Simmel devoted a number of his works to cultural analysis, underscoring the extent to which relations between individuals and culture involve reciprocal action. In this context, the development of the self supposes that there is an erudite appropriation of the content of culture, including art, philosophy and religion. However, such appropriation does not take on its full meaning unless an essential link to this cultivation is maintained. In other words, culture serves the autonomy and emancipation of the individual.
