TY - BOOK AU - Gounelle,Juliette AU - Soubelet,Andrea TI - Pregnancy denials and their consequences on the development of children: A systematic review PY - 2023///. N1 - 94 N2 - The aim of this systematic review is to identify the consequences of pregnancy denials on the birth, early life, and development of the child. In all the groups we studied, there was a high number of newborns who experienced perinatal health problems, especially premature birth and growth delays. We observed high rates of institutionalization and abandonment at birth, as well as chronic medical conditions and speech delays. These two outcomes are hard to clearly distinguish from those of premature birth. Pregnancy denial could be a risk factor for developmental disorders in children. However, there is still a lack of long-term studies on children born after pregnancy denial UR - https://shs.cairn.info/journal-devenir-2023-3-page-181?lang=en&redirect-ssocas=7080 ER -
