<br/><br/> RésuméLa rupture est ici définie comme ce qui sépare à l’intérieur du sujet ce qui antérieurement était vécu comme uni. Pour illustrer la notion de rupture et son possible dépassement, nous utilisons la clinique de la chute chez le sujet âgé. La chute est un événement qui perturbe profondément et constitue un véritable analogique de la mort stérilisant l’avenir de la personne âgée. La chute constitue un événement organisateur. Elle sépare la vie de la personne âgée en deux, installe une rupture, casse toute dynamique anticipatoire.L’Épreuve d’Anticipation (EA) est un outil qui permet de mettre en évidence cette problématique en soulignant la place et le rôle joué dans l’organisation psychique par l’avenir refusé. Cet outil permet également de repérer les matériaux susceptibles de faire lien et de ré-instaurer une vie psychique là où la pensée rationnelle est en échec. La rupture n’a pas d’existence objective à un niveau intrapsychique et peut toujours être dépassée en recourant à l’image symbolique.  Anticipation and situations of ruptureThe rupture breaks in the individual what it perceived like one. We expose the concept of rupture using the fall of the old person. Often associated to the death, the fall is an event which disturbs the life deeply. There is the life before the fall and the life after. The elderly becomes anxious and has difficulties to anticipate.The test of anticipation presents this problem and the function of the negative future. With this instrument it is possible to use symbolic images to restore a relation in the psychic life when the rational thought can nothing make. Thus the rupture can always be exceeded.  ResumenDefinimos la ruptura como lo que separa, en el interior del sujeto, lo que antes era vivenciado como algo unido. Para ilustrar la noción de ruptura y su posible superación utilizamos la clínica de la caída en el anciano. La caída es un acontecimiento que perturba profundamente y que constituye una verdadera analogía de la muerte esterilizando el porvenir del anciano. La caída constituye un acontecimiento organizador. Separa la vida del anciano en dos, instala una ruptura, destruye toda dinámica anticipatoria. La Prueba de Anticipación es un instrumento que permite constatar esta problemática indicando el lugar y el rol que juega el rechazo del porvenir en la organización psíquica. Este instrumento también permite la identificación de material que puede conectar y reinstaurar una vida psíquica allí donde el pensamiento racional ha fracasado. La ruptura no tiene una existencia objetiva a nivel intrapsíquico y siempre puede superarse gracias a la imagen simbólica.
