N2  - "The figure of the hero is no longer limited to that of the mythical hero ; the virtual hero henceforth provides a contemporary transformation to occupy this position in the phantasy world of adolescents. But do these two heroes cover the same internal issues ? Through analysis of a case related to clinical research, we propose to explore investment in the heroic avatar through three approaches that are at the centre of the process of adolescence : instinctual turmoil, Narcissistic and objectal conflictuality, and the problem of loss. What emerges from comparison by analogy between the libidinal investment of ancient heroes and virtual heroes is the divergence that develops in this clinical situation between imagining being a hero and feeding virtually the megalomaniac phantasy of being a hero."
