N1 - 7 N2 - The authors report a particular result obtained as part of research into the subjective involvement of magistrates in the construction of their intimate conviction. How can the relation between the intimate conviction of guilt and consideration for the family and intersubjective links be construed ? The research method is centred on the study of storytelling. The case put before the magistrates is a complaint for incest. The intimate conviction is approached on its legal basis and considered from the point of view of the psychic work it is likely to mobilise. Analysis of the narrative identities allows three relations to the “induced psychic conflict” to be distinguished. The magistrates who take into account intersubjective links would appear to be those who on the one hand apply the work of doubt and on the other strive to think out the subjectivity of the accused and the relationship between this man and his daughter UR - https://shs.cairn.info/journal-dialogue-2016-1-page-69?lang=en&redirect-ssocas=7080 ER -
